COSUP Volunteer Programme

The Community Oriented Substance Use Programme (COSUP) is a community-based initiative that promotes harm reduction, prevention, treatment, and recovery support for people affected by substance use. The programme works to improve access to healthcare and social support services while reducing the stigma associated with substance use.

Through education, outreach, advocacy, and community engagement, COSUP empowers individuals, families, and communities to make informed decisions and build healthier, safer environments. Volunteers are an integral part of the programme, supporting awareness campaigns, community outreach, and connecting people with the services and support they need.

This video, presented by COSUP Programme Director Kagiso Maila, offers an overview of the programme, its objectives, and the positive impact it continues to make within our communities.
